Linnea Nilsen Capshaw recently joined Bowen & Briggs as Executive Vice President and has become an integral part of the team. She has over 25 years of experience in organizational and leadership development in a variety of health care organizations across the country, including a special focus with Children’s Hospitals.
She is partnering to conduct executive and physician searches, working with clients, candidates and the Search Team through the entire process: developing an understanding of the client organization; planning search strategy based on desired qualifications of candidates by the client organization; marketing and candidate sourcing; screening and interviewing of candidates; and ongoing communication with clients and candidates to ensure a successful outcome.
In 2010, The Consulting Collaborative was formed, as Nilsen Capshaw and Associates partnered with Bowen & Briggs, Inc. and others. Ms. Nilsen Capshaw has taken an active role in the development of this exciting initiative by bringing together highly experienced consultants to facilitate organizational development and change.
As founder and president of Nilsen Capshaw and Associates, she has assisted many health care organizations in achieving their mission through business planning, development, training, and implementation of successful operational strategies and systems. Nilsen Capshaw and Associates work history includes collaboration with Bowen & Briggs consulting on several client projects.
Prior to forming Nilsen Capshaw and Associates, Ms. Nilsen Capshaw demonstrated her expertise as Associate Vice President of Physician Practices and the Executive Director and founder of the Benjamin Franklin Clinic (BFC), a management service organization and Affiliate of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospital Administration from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota; and a Master’s degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.
